DenizBank is one of the youngest and fastest growing banks in the Turkish
banking industry and has succesfully made a reputable name in the financial
sector. Since its privatization in 1997, DenizBank increased its number of
branches from 18 to 122 and from the beginning of 2002 more than 70 new
branches were opened. DenizBank's branch number increased to 185 in 2004.
DenizBank aimed to widen its online banking services' scope offered for its
corporate customers and provide services at each level of work flow from
supplier to consumer. DenizBank decided to preserve the existing traditional
commerce features and carry these to electronic environment as a new structure
which would be the B2B Market Place model.

dealers and regular buyers. Sellers can prepare their catalogs at the
electronic environment, dealers and regular buyers can order via internet and
it is possible to form automatic invoices and follow up them electronically.

for the sellers from catalog preparation to promotional activities. Sellers may
offer different fixed terms, discount rates and payment plans to each dealer.
