| Situation |
 |
Arçelik, founded in 1955 is one of Europe's leading
household appliances companies and sector leader of Turkey with Beko and Altus
brands. Arçelik serves in Turkey with its nearly 5.000 dealers and 900 service
points.
As Turkey's market leader, Arçelik develops products using world standard
technology, and invests highly in technology to ensure the continuation of
success and competitive advantage of its products.
Arçelik had some problems about the applications used by its dealers. Arçelik
and Beko dealers were using different applications and they didn't have a data
transfer infrastructure. Applications were independent from each other, upgrade
operations were difficult and technical support was insufficient.
Another important issue was the demands and needs of the dealers. Dealers
wanted to access to the current customer profit and stock information and get
an advanced and continuous technology support.
Arçelik needed a solid solution to integrate its dealers to its business
processes, attain efficiency for credit card operations and provide its dealers
an advanced infrastructure for a more customer oriented service structure.

architecture with two solution components.

| Dealer Integration Application |
 |
VeriPark developed the dealer integration application
that enables secure and current data transfer between the centre and the
dealers, with its product Datex which is a solution enabling institutions
execute their business processes integrated with their dealers and business
partners via internet.
The application provides a fast, secure and scalable infrastructure that
transfers data between Arçelik and its dealers. It runs on Arçelik servers and
enables information exchange via internet.
Dealer integration enables efficiency in manufacturing planning. Easy and fast
delivery of new campaigns, news, announcements and product information to
dealers and transfer of bill, quota and order information between Arçelik and
its dealers enables an efficient and fast integration.
Access to end user based product and sales information electronically enables
dealers to get information about the customer's payment and purchase history
from a single screen. Reporting sales, payment and shipment details
spontaneously gives advantage for a customer centered service structure and
higher customer satisfaction.

| Central Card Payment Application |
 |
VeriPark developed the central card payment
application with VeriPark DigiPOS, a solution for supporting all banks' credit
cards with a single POS machine.
Usage of a single POS machine at Arçelik dealers decreases equipment,
maintenance and office space costs. The system decreases credit card
commissions and increases sales revenues thus leads to a higher dealer
satisfaction. Central management of application, data and payment system
reduces operational costs.
