VeriPark TouchPoint application infrastructure and
solution architecture is designed as a 3-layered application. The
diagram below shows the system flow and relations. The client/presentation
layer of the solution is XML/DHTML based and works browser based.
The top layer is the layer of the user identification and authorization in
which the authority of the user for the system operations are defined.
The middle layer is the main layer of the TouchPoint. The management of
campaign systems, campaign engines and campaign reporting systems are placed
here. The different modules of the middle layer provides the determination of
campaign segments, personalization and formation of campaign black lists.
The campaign engine of the middle layer, interacts with other systems via two
main interfaces. The first interface is the Channel Integration Layer that
enables campaigns to reach different channels by a single interface. The second
interface is the Data Integration Layer that enables campaign management module
to work in integration with different databases by a generic interface. This
feature of the Data Integration Layer provides TouchPoint to work with
different host systems and databases during adaptation.
