e-Billing Features
Enrollment: With VeriBranch's e-Billing system, your customers will be able to register online and begin using the e-Billing functionality immediately. The product allows for online registration and stores required information including checking account number, credit card number and mother's maiden name.

Your customers will also have the opportunity to use the quick log-on functionality using their existing "customer number" and "password".

  • Enrollment Administration: The Administration module contains the functionality to allow CSR's to activate customers.
With the VeriBranch e-Billing module, customers can track the status of their enrollment anytime during the activation process and receive e-mail and SMS confirmation when full activation is complete.
  • Enrollment Access Control: Users can access to the system using a User Id and Password (via authorization code)
  • User ID and Digital Certificate: With VeriBranch, it is also possible to configure the access rights of a user against each function or set of functions.

Presentment: Users can register any number of billers from a predetermined list and will have the opportunity to modify these billers at a later date. VeriBranch can also initiate parallel queries to both online and offline billers. The layout of the bill presentment page is customizable according to the preferences of each financial institution.

Users can view their payment history according to different selected criteria. VeriBranch EBPP includes activity logging and event tracking to capture and store all customer activity.
  • Bill Presentment: VeriBranch EBPP allows clients access to all bills online leveraging the data flow between the Bill Presentment database and data transfer module.The system allows consumers to view both detailed and summarized e-Billing data.
  • Bill Status Updates: Customers sometimes choose to pay a bill via another payment method and therefore may need to delete a presented bill or mark it as paid externally. During requirements gathering, financial institutions generally define whether or not this process will be available to the customer online.
  • Customer Reporting: Reporting needs are defined during the requirements gathering stage. Using VeriBranch reporting, users are able to view paid bills using different criteria.For example, a user could create a bill payment history within a specified date range, listing outstanding disputed bills.
Payment: Users have the opportunity to pay bills online from a checking account or using a credit card and have a host of other options including automatic payments or scheduled payments.Depending on the biller, the short pay option may also be an option.

Using VeriBranch, different payment methods and options can be set up for each individual biller.For example, for one particular biller, debit account payments may be acceptable and appear on the screen as a payment option, whereas credit card payments may not.

The customer is free to choose the payment method and payment type for all bills and change the payment status anytime until payment has been completed.
  • Payment Methods: For any biller and service number, the customer is free to choose between the following payment methods:
  • Automatic Payment with Limit
  • Manual Payment
  • Payment Types: Customers can choose to make either an automatic or manual payment. The customer will also be able to choose the account from which the payment will originate, selecting from a list of credit card and checking accounts.
  • Payment Scheduling: Customers can schedule a payment date for any of the bills presented in their account. With any scheduled payment, the customer is free to select the payment date, payment amount, payment method and ask to receive e-Alerts about the payment.
  • Blocking Double Payment: In order to instill customer confidence, VeriBranch EBPP can detect and prevent possible double payments

Campaign & Content Management: VeriBranch EBPP makes it easy for a financial institution to provide a high level of customer service. The system includes CRM tools such as e-mail, SMS notification and target marketing capabilities based each customer's profile information and activity pattern. Multiple marketing actions can be launched such as sending targeted e-mail, displaying advertising banners, or presenting a personalized page via a single user event.

Inquiry Support: In order to support user enquiries, be it billers or payers, VeriBranch EBPP provides a standard set of enquiry capability for all bills and payments. In addition, users can sort and search by user-definable parameters.

Data Transfer:
VeriBranch EBPP is designed to work equally well with both online and offline billers. The system imports incoming data from offline billers based on a schedule, while working simultaneously with online billers leveraging data from the biller's site.

Administration: VeriBranch EBPP has a multi level administration system, allowing users who have logged in, to access different levels of information and system settings depending on their role.
