Jeff Casey is a Research Director covering the banking and financial technology industries within Gartner's Vertical Industries Service for Technology and Service Providers. Mr. Casey advises clients on generating growth in the next generation of Financial Technologies (Fintech) through role specific advice related to go-to-market strategies and best practices aligned to the disruptive potential of Fintech. His guidance helps clients understand market dynamics and industry trends as well as future scenarios and opportunities.
Prior to Gartner, Mr. Casey was the Chief Digital Officer at First Financial Bank where he led the strategic development of the bank's digital services, including identifying differentiating digital capabilities and leading the development of the digital business strategy and roadmap. In previous management roles, Mr. Casey's responsibilities included project and portfolio management, technology governance, and vendor selection and management.
