We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Sales Specialist - Branch Automation Software - to join our team and drive sales of our Branch Automation software solution. The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our Branch Automation Software solution to Banks in collaboration with the sales and account management team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of banking operations and a proven track record in software sales within the financial services industry.

What you will be doing

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the banking sector, focusing on selling our branch automation software solution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at financial institutions, including bank executives, branch managers, and IT directors.
  • Knowledge of Core Banking functionality and banking operations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase the features and benefits of the product, addressing the specific needs and pain points of potential clients.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to the sales team throughout the sales process, including post-sales implementation, product demonstration preparation, RFP response preparation, meetings, and customer visits.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand the needs and pain points of potential clients, and tailor product presentations and demonstrations to address their specific requirements.
  • Increase the sales pipeline for the product by generating new opportunities and upsell and cross sell scenarios.
  • Track global sales activity, pipeline development, and performance metrics using Microsoft Dynamics, and provide regular reports and updates to management.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to stay informed about new features, enhancements, and updates to our software solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

What we are looking for

  • 6-8 years of experience in a similar industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and familiarity with branch automation technologies.
  • Proven track record of success in software sales, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to meet with clients and prospects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience selling bank branch automation software or related financial technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry.
  • Existing network of contacts within the financial services sector.
  • Relevant certifications or professional training in sales or banking technology.
