What you will be doing
- Identify opportunities for automation and technological improvements in branch operations, ensuring that they align with the bank's strategic objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering strategic advice to branch managers and IT teams on automation solutions and best practices.
- Analyze existing operational processes and recommend changes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with technology vendors and suppliers to evaluate and select appropriate branch automation systems and software.
- Develop and provide training programs for branch staff to ensure effective utilization of automation tools.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes to maintain the reliability and security of branch automation systems.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor and report on the performance of branch automation systems and recommend improvements.
- Ensure that branch automation systems are compliant with industry regulations and maintain the highest level of security.
- Lead and execute automation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
What we are looking for
- 8+ years of experience in the banking sector, with a deep understanding of branch operations and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, or a related field.
- Familiarity with information technology and automation solutions, especially in the context of financial institutions.
- Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving to identify areas for improvement.
- Proven ability to manage projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Experience in vendor evaluation and negotiation.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and security standards relevant to branch automation systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams within the organization.
- Experience in an IT company or a role that involves IT solutions for banks is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
