What you will be doing
- Understand the project requirements: Needs to have a clear understanding of the project requirements, including the business goals and the technical specifications.
- Developer team management: Needs to manage the team which is under the responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the team members and know how to distribute tasks among team members based on their skills and strengths.
- Software development process management: Overseeing and optimizing the entire lifecycle of creating software, from initial planning to deployment and maintenance. It encompasses various methodologies, practices, and tools to ensure efficient, high-quality, and timely delivery of software projects.
- Develop software applications: Should be able to write clean and efficient code to develop software applications using the .NET framework, Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, LINQ, ASMX, IIS, WCF Web Services, and Entity Framework.
- Debug and test applications: Must be able to debug and test the applications to ensure they meet the project's requirements and are free of errors.
- Collaborate with team members: Should be able to work closely with other developers, designers, and project managers to ensure that the software application is delivered on time and meets the project requirements.
- Maintain and update software applications: Maintaining and updating software applications to ensure they continue to meet the project's requirements and function as intended.
- Keep up to date with emerging trends: Should keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies related to the .NET framework to ensure that the software application is using the latest and most efficient techniques.
- Provide technical support: Needs to provide technical support to end-users to help them use the software application properly.
- Document the development process: Should document the development process, including the code and any changes made to the software application, to ensure that the project can be maintained and updated in the future.
What we are looking for
- 7+ years of relevant working experience.
- Graduate Degree in IT, Computer Science.
- Banking experience is preferable.
- Team Management experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of programming languages should have proficiency in C#.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP): OOP is a popular programming methodology, and .NET developers should have a solid understanding of OOP concepts like inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism.
- Experience with .NET frameworks: .NET developers should have experience with .NET frameworks like .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
- Database management: Knowledge of database management systems like SQL Server and MSSQL is critical for .NET developers, as many .NET applications require database integration.
Ability to write clean code: Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code is critical to the success of a .NET developer.
- Troubleshooting skills: The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly is essential for .NET developers.
- Good communication skills are essential for .NET developers to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC): A .NET developer should have knowledge of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Continuous learning: .NET developers should be committed to continuous learning and keeping up with the latest developments in the field to stay ahead of the curve.
