VeriTouch Financial Transactions on Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services

Empowering bank tellers, sellers and advisors to efficiently execute financial transactions

Financial Transactions app - Extending Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services

This app is an extension to the Unified Customer Profile (UCP) provided by Microsoft. While UCP provides a consolidated view of the customer’s relationship with the bank where staff can see and address inquiries around the customer’s utilized products and services, the Transactions app provides the ability to perform banking transactions.

Key Features

  • 1 icon

Provides the ability to the bank’s staff to perform banking transactions requested by the customer within the same UCP view in an STP manner (i.e., Straight-through Processing without any manual intervention).

  • 2 icon

Users (bank staff) can pay bills, make payments, transfer funds, enable subscriptions and perform many other transactions on behalf of the customer, all within the same app and without the need to navigate to another system or application.

  • 3 icon

This provides a unified front end for staff, increases efficiency, and enhances user experience as well as customer experience.

Use Case Scenario

Suppose your customer - we called her Abigail - needs to pay for an order, but the payment is declined. She receives a notification from her bank app, opens her mobile app and sees that she has insufficient funds in her account. She contacts the bank's 24/7 live chat, where a professional agent offers assistance with resolving the issue.

The bank agent knows exactly why the payment was declined and knows that the customer already has additional funds in another account. The agent solves the problem by adding these funds to her main account, completing the transaction successfully within a few minutes. All of this happens in real time while the customer waits on the other side of the conversation.

The agent confirms this action via email and SMS and then informs Abigail how she can ensure uninterrupted payments in the future, such as setting up recurring payments or increasing available credit on a card. Then the agent asks if there are any other questions or concerns.

Abigail asks to send an account statement for the last year to her email address. In the past, such a request would have required an employee to access the customer's account information through the core banking system and print the statements.

With this app, it can be completed in seconds, with a simple push of a button, a copy of the previous year's statement can be sent.
